Kohler Engine Mower Finishes Second at Oaktoberfest 2011
It was a close race but one in which the victor would be another racer. We do not mean to rain on the parade of the Kohler Engine racer, not at all, it is only that we wore our colorful ‘Go Kohler’ sweatshirts and screamed our proverbial heads off for the #2 riding lawnmower to take the checkered flag. Unfortunately, it was not to be and the #1 Briggs racer was the winner this fine day.
Post Oak, Illinois was the location for Oaktoberfest 2011and it served as a wonderful spot for a day of lawnmower racing! The Kohler racer fought hard all the way and we thought it was going to be a close, hard-won victory, but on the very last turn, it was the #1 racer that blew past our guy!
Please have a look at the pictures from the race day event and recall that it is a great way to spend an afternoon watching and cheering on riding lawnmowers from the sidelines!
